‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 12 Cast Gets Silly Behind the Scenes at 1st Photo Shoot
The cast of Vanderpump Rules season 12 is SURving it up.
In addition to talking to the rebooted cast of the show — Venus Binkley, Jason Cohen, Shayne Davis, Chris Hahn, Angelica Jensen, Marcus Johnson, Audrey Lingle, Natalie Maguire, Demy Selem and Kim Suarez — for their first official interviews as Bravolebrities, Us Weekly has exclusive behind-the-scenes snaps from their photo shoot.
The network announced nearly a year ago that the season 11 cast of VPR would not be back for season 12 as they struggled to recover from the fallout of Scandoval. The new crop of servers and bartenders at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant say that they don’t want to be compared to the OGs, including Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz, Tom Sandoval, Lala Kent, James Kennedy and more.
“People are understandably so eager to make those comparisons — just out of their love for the OGs — but there’s no comparison,” Kim tells Us. “Everybody is completely different from the old cast. Everyone in this cast has their own thing going for them. I think people are going to be really pleasantly surprised once they start to get to know everybody. There’s similarities, but it’s not in the way that people are going to want to be able to compare.”
Chris added that the newbies aren’t trying to “repeat history.”
“Everyone was genuine, and everyone was themselves,” he said. “You’re gonna find out all about our lives, and I think you’re going to be pleasantly surprised.”
Vanderpump Rules returns to Bravo Tuesday, December 2, at 9 p.m. and airs the next day on Peacock.
