Ariana Madix Helps Ciara Miller Dump Her ‘Baggage’ in New Sonic Ad

Ariana Madix and Ciara Miller are teaming up for another Sonic ad.

In a new video released on Sunday, May 24, the Vanderpump Rules alum finds the Summer House star counting the pieces in a massive pile of luggage.

“You don’t need all that,” Madix, 40, tells Miller, 30.

The Love Island USA host hands Miller two Sonic Frozen Refreshers and begins tossing aside her belongings, saying, “No, no, no, no, no.”

“Those are my hats,” Miller insists. She then asks, “Are you sure?”

“Trust me,” Madix assures her. “I’ve been there before.”

“Dumped your baggage?” Miller asks, adding, “Sip to that with Frozen Sonic Refreshers.”

The pair, who’ve both been involved in viral reality TV scandals, previously poked fun at the drama in an April 23 Sonic video shared on Instagram.

“So… anything new to talk about?” Madix asked Miller in the first spot, in which they sat together at a window seat in summery outfits.

“Nothing, no new updates from me,” Miller said, stirring her drink.

“Nothing? Nada? Really” Madix asked, to which Miller responded, “No, honestly, life has been pretty chill.”

“That’s actually so refreshing to hear because I feel like I kind of thought that, you know, like, things were like, you know,” Miller said, gesturing with her hands.

“No, no, I’ve been off social media, I’ve been honestly just drinking my new frozen Sonic Refresher,” Miller said.

“I love that energy,” Madix said. “Same,” Miller replied.

“Let’s sip to that,” Madix said. “Sip to that,” Miller said during a cheers, winking at the camera.

Miller’s ex-boyfriend, West Wilson, and her close friend Amanda Batula recently surprised Summer House viewers when they announced their secret relationship.

Madix was in the news for a separate Bravo scandal in 2023, known as “Scandoval,” when her ex-boyfriend and Vanderpump Rules costar Tom Sandoval had an affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss. Sandoval had been dating Madix for nine years.

Madix said she’s always been a big fan of Sonic, adding that she’s “obsessed” with the new Refreshers, especially the Strawberry Passionfruit.

“If you’re not getting a carrier full of drinks,” at Sonic, she said, “you’re not doing it right.”

“When I was in high school, a Sonic opened in my town, and it was like revolutionary,” she added. “We couldn’t believe that we got a Sonic, because it’s Melbourne, Florida.”

“I have such fond memories of that,” she said.
