Scheana Shay Accuses Lisa Vanderpump Of Exploiting Her
Scheana Shay has been in headlines recently for the shocking revelations in her new book, My Good Side. Shay revealed that her husband, Brock Davies, cheated on her with a woman from his gym when she was pregnant with their daughter, River. The affair was at the same time as the infamous scandavol affair. With the Vanderpump Rules cast under intense scrutiny because of the scandal, Scheana chose to keep her husband’s affair to herself; she even went as far as to question if she deserved to be cheated on. However, this isn’t the first time she has been involved in a cheating scandal.
In 2006, Scheana Shay was involved in an affair with Eddie Cibrian. She was 21 and he was 33. She faced extreme backlash from the relationship. Shay was branded a “Home-wrecking whore.” However, Shay revealed that Eddie had lied to her, and she had fallen for his lies. Scheana says that people forget that she was a young girl fresh out of college, and Cibrian was a mature adult. Shay revealed that Lisa Vanderpump took advantage of her knowledge about the affair to hurt her and make money. Scheana said:
“She low-key used my real-life pain to launch her TV empire — and what an empire she has.”
Lisa Vanderpump Uses Sheana Shay’s Trauma For Views
In a 2013 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Vanderpump launched a firestorm of drama when she introduced Scheana Shay to Eddie Cibrian’s ex-wife, Brandi Glanville. Vanderpump claimed she was unaware of the connection between Scheana and Brandi. In My Good Side, Scheana Shay states that Lisa knew of the affair and she faked her responses on the reality show. Shay said:
“She gaslit me about it for a decade instead of just coming to me in the beginning. That’s the thing with Lisa: She doesn’t make mistakes. She makes moves and then calls them coincidences.”
Shay revealed that her relationship with Vanderpump changed after she began to push back against Lisa’s orders. There was an incident with another cast member, which Shay felt Vanderpump expected her to take Lisa’s side in the staff dispute. She revealed that Vanderpump called her before a staff meeting and pressured her to say a specific point of view, and when Scheana didn’t do that, Lisa became upset with her. It is safe to say that Lisa Vanderpump and Scheana Shay do not see eye to eye.
Scheana Shay was part of the cast of Vanderpump Rules for 11 seasons. Recently, Bravo has decided to recast the show with young, fresh faces.
