Jax Taylor’s Staff Elated His ‘Dark Cloud’ Is Gone

Jax Taylor’s Staff Elated His ‘Dark Cloud’ Is Gone
When Jax Taylor opened his bar, he was thrilled about the business. The Valley alum loved Jax’s Studio City, and he has been hardcore about always wearing his own merch. Despite his pride, it was his former wife, Brittany Cartwright, who poured her heart and soul into the bar. She even landed a self-titled bar, which never ended up coming to fruition. As Season 2 was filming, it was revealed that Jax had a substance problem. Moreover, he had been a cocaine addict for twenty years.
Allegedly, he has since cleaned up his act but announced he would not be returning to The Valley for Season 3. Many believed that he was not given a choice by Bravo but to leave, yet he claims he did so to focus on his son and sobriety. That is also why he recently stepped away from his bar. Jax wants to ensure that he is taking care of himself, but his staff is unbothered by this revelation. They are thrilled that he is leaving and feel that he was a “dark cloud” over the bar. Those who have been employed at Jax’s Studio City shared their shame at working there:
“It’s was becoming mortifying to say ‘Oh yeah I work at Jax’s bar’ after things were getting so dark so to not have to be tied to him anymore is a relief.”
They also noted that Jax Taylor owning the bar brought a new level of drama, and they are hopeful that it will subside. Although employees felt he was relatively nice to everyone when he came in, he also brought an energy that they deemed “chaotic.” They also noted that:
“He just wanted to spend so much time [at the bar] to be recognized and mingle with fans, it made him feel important.”
A Good Exit
It is unclear what will happen to The Valley alum’s bar now that it is not under Jax Taylor’s name. Jax’s Studio City was a part of the popular Rocco’s Tavern; therefore, it should not be hard for them to find a new namesake. Initially, everyone who worked at the bar was excited to have Jax. However, that all changed once he began his time there. He brought a “dark cloud,” which was inescapable, and they are all happy to have him away. At the same time, the staff all found out about his departure via social media, and they are beyond relieved.
