A VPR Producer Asks Angelica a Damning Question About Shayne vs. Jason

When a Vanderpump Rules producer asked Angelica Jensen to address a seeming double standard involving her romances with Shayne Davis and Jason Cohen, the SUR hostess rose to the occasion.

During a visit to a vineyard in Paso Robles, Calif., on Season 12, Episode 9, Angelica brought up to Shayne that the oysters they were about to sample had “aphrodisiac” effects. In response, he joked about potentially not needing to take his medication for erectile dysfunction (ED). (ICYMI: Shayne previously shared that he’d experienced ED ever since he was wounded in an accidental shooting.)

“Shayne has been very honest about the fact that he has ED,” Angelica noted in a confessional. “So, I’m hoping that this oyster will help him prepare for my oyster.”

That led the Vanderpump Rules producer to call Angelica out, asking why it didn’t bother her that Shayne needed ED meds when she previously had an issue with Jason using a penis pump.

“Jason, just, it’s kind of like when you go to the Olympics, and they’re using steroids. Like, why? Why are you doing that?” Angelica reasoned. “Shayne’s been through war. He needs this.”

During the same outing, Jason asked Angelica if they could make peace and “move on” from their past drama.

Though she initially agreed, she made a “dig” toward him moments later, instantly reigniting their feud. Later, Jason confronted Angelica about her continued animosity, as well as her tendency to pass “judgment” about everything from the penis pump to his OnlyFans activity with his cousin Chris Hahn.

Their argument more or less ended on a sour note, with Jason declaring that he didn’t “give a f–k” what Angelica thought about him or his career choices.

Afterward, Angelica revealed in an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish that she had “no regrets” about the way her fling with Jason ended. In hindsight, she might have handled one aspect of the situation a little differently, however.

“I feel like I probably could have been a little bit less of a big mouth when it came to gossip,” Angelica admitted. “But I think the word was gonna travel one way or the other. And a lot of the information wasn’t me sleuthing. It was just given to me, and I have a problem with not shutting up.”

Meanwhile, she also set the record straight about the OnlyFans drama, specifically, insisting that she doesn’t have “a problem” with anyone earning money on the platform.

“I think that for me, what was a little strange was the fact that it was with his cousin,” Angelica clarified. “That’s where I really had an opinion, because before, the OnlyFans thing wasn’t an issue for me. I just didn’t find out through him.”

When a friend brought the nature of their content to her attention, Angelica concluded, “That was when I was like, yeah, this is really weird.”

While Angelica was clashing with Jason at a winery, Shayne chose to walk away and play arcade games, instead, remarking in a confessional that “drama is a turn-off” for him.

“At this point, I’m starting to wonder if there are more stressors with getting close to her than not,” he added.

A bit later, Shayne made up his mind and went to Angelica’s bedroom in the rental house to break the news.

“Everything that just happened made me think, where are we headed?” he explained to her. “I feel you getting romantic with me is a really bad idea. And I don’t want to do that, because you know what my lifestyle’s like. I don’t want to hurt you.”

Though Angelica remained unsure of exactly how serious Shayne was being, he offered more insight on why he “ended things” with her, in another confessional.

“In a perfect world, I thought I could be a fun guy that she could kick it with while she’s getting over this breakup,” he elaborated, referencing Angelica’s recent ex who she was still living with at the time. “And that she would like me enough to stop the warfare with Jason. And then it exploded.”
