Charlotte MOVED FANS TO TEARS By Touching Gesture After Seeing Mom Catherine at Wimbledon

It’s an exciting day for tennis and royal fans alike, as Wimbledon 2025 starts.

The Princess of Wales, who is patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, is expected to make an appearance in the next two weeks as the tournament progresses.

Accompanying the Princess of Wales is her daughter, Princess Charlotte, who made her first appearance at Wimbledon in 2023.

She was overcome with shyness during the men’s final.

Two years ago, the Princess joined her parents and her brother, Prince George, for a thrilling match.

The 8-year-old was wearing a dress in a pale blue paisley print with an embroidered waist and short scalloped sleeves.

Her hair was partly held back with a matching blue ribbon. She was wearing white Mary Janes and carried a pair of pink-frame sunglasses for when the court got a little too bright.

Her brother George was in a navy blue suit with a white button-down and a blue striped tie.

Catherine was dressed in emerald green, wearing a midi dress designed by Roland Mouret with three-quarter sleeves and ruched fabric along the bodice.

She accessorized with matching emerald drop earrings and a pair of suede nude heels.

She led the group to the front row of the Royal Box to watch the game, as she enjoyed an exciting match between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz.

From the Royal Box, she displayed a reserved demeanor when it came to meeting the Spanish champion backstage at the tournament.

Before taking the children to get a behind-the-scenes view, Catherine presented the trophies to the players on court.

As the mother of three congratulated Carlos on his victory, Charlotte appeared to be overcome with shyness and tried to hide behind her mother.

However, at last year’s tournament, the tennis star won his second consecutive Wimbledon Championship and once again met the royal after the final.

This time, Charlotte beamed confidently as Catherine introduced her daughter to Alcaraz.

Now, in the photos, we see Catherine in a bold purple Sophia London Cecilia dress.

But Charlotte is wearing something that fans are convinced is an homage to her mother and her return to Wimbledon.

Charlotte was seen wearing a navy polka-dotted dress.

As many Catherine style fans know, Catherine often wears polka dots for Wimbledon, and Charlotte’s 2024 look is strikingly similar to two of Catherine’s past Wimbledon outfits.

It looks just like the navy polka-dot Alessandra Rich dress Catherine wore in 2022, and the navy polka-dotted Alessandra Rich skirt she donned the year prior.

In the now-viral Wimbledon throwback video, Princess Catherine arrives at the tournament and effortlessly overshadows Hollywood stars like Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Rami Malek, Richard Gere, Guy Ritchie, and Maria Sharapova as they cheer and react to the thrilling matches.

It is her elegant presence that fans remember most—proving she effortlessly overshadows even the biggest Hollywood stars at Wimbledon.

Hollywood turned out for Princess Catherine’s rare public appearance amid her cancer treatment, where she was met with a standing ovation from the audience while taking her seat in the Royal Box at Centre Court.

Middleton was visibly moved by the emotional applause, waving with a huge smile on her face.

Charlotte’s reaction is what really stole everyone’s hearts.

In a video, the young royal could be seen beaming with pride as she looked up at her mom with an admiring grin.

When Catherine usually comes in, she walks down the steps and into her seat. She doesn’t normally stand and wave—but this time, she stood for a while and took it all in.

For her to acknowledge it and take in the applause was special.

She seemed to look no different from the last Wimbledon—it felt like she is back.

For them to cheer and clap when they came in was a great support for her.

Wimbledon had been waiting with bated breath for her to return, and she was back.

The Princess has been patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club since 2016, and traditionally presents the trophies to the winners of the men’s and women’s finals.

It came after her name originally appeared on the official list of those taking part in a carriage procession alongside her husband, Prince William, as well as the King and Queen.

When it was confirmed that she would not be attending, sources said she is still trying to find the right balance following her cancer diagnosis and subsequent chemotherapy treatment.

Although she has not appeared in public since then, it has emerged that she has carried out an engagement behind closed doors.

According to the Court Circular—the record of official royal engagements—she and William met with philanthropist Melinda French Gates, the former wife of Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates, at Windsor Castle yesterday.
